Nick joined 303 in 2006 having been Chairman/CEO of DDB Australia. Under his leadership, DDB successfully diversified its offering & grew its creative profile, winning numerous accolades including Agency of the Year many times. He has worked on numerous landmark campaigns: McDonalds’ reinvention, VW’s rapid growth, ANZ’s popular “Now” campaign, Wrigleys confectionary expansion, & launching 3.

Under his stewardship 303 has become Australia’s largest independent agency, expanded its offering, opened a very successful Sydney office & won accolades such as Ad News State

Alan Taylor
Managing Director, Perth

Alan joined 303 in May 2000 & in 2002, he took up a shareholding and joined the board. In 2008 he became Managing Director. One of WA’s most experienced Business Directors, Alan is recognized nationally as a leading strategic planner in Social Marketing and Public Education.

Alan has been responsible for some of WA’s most successful social marketing campaigns, including ‘Go for 2&5®’, which netted an AFA Effectiveness Award in 2006. A regular lecturer at AFA AdSchool, Alan also recently helped secure WA’s first Effie Award for IKEA’s ‘Love where you live’ campaign. Alan is the Chair for the WA Communications Council.

Lindsay Medalia
Executive Creative Director

Lindsay is a highly awarded and experienced creative leader, having been Creative Director at Marketforce before leaving to found 303. He has developed a unique collaborative creative approach to the development of ideas and sees enduring campaign properties as the hallmark of 303’s creative output. Lindsay is one of Perth’s most experienced creatives, having worked in the local industry since 1980.

He has won numerous national awards (including AWARD awards for Quit and Road Safety, and Siren radio awards for Go for 2&5®) as well as many PADC and Campaign Brief Awards (including best radio campaign for WAAPA).

Jon McKie
Managing Director, Sydney

Jon is one of Australia’s most respected strategists with 20 years experience as a brand and communications planner in Australia, USA, Japan and the UK. He is skilled in all aspects of planning from brand positioning to channel planning.

He most recently worked at Ogilvy London as Planning Partner on the Dove ‘Campaign for Real Beauty’, BP Retail and GSK (Lucozade). He previously worked at DDB Sydney, heading up strategy planning for McDonalds, Hyundai and NSW Lotteries, where he won 7 AFA effectiveness awards. Jon is a trained moderator in Edward de Bono’s lateral thinking techniques.

Simon Langley
ECD

Simon has been in the industry for over 14 years having worked in Melbourne and Sydney before moving to London to work at Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO. He has won awards at all the major international shows including 2 D&AD Yellow Pencils, multiple Cannes gold, silver & bronze, One Show gold & multiple silver, Clio’s, gold at British Television & London International, as well as numerous local awards. He returned to BMF Sydney in 2004 and as CD, helped steer the agency to B&T Agency of the Decade and multiple Agency of the Year titles. In the One Report 2009 ECD and CD rankings Simon was ranked 8th in the world, with the‘TED696 Project’ the third most awarded campaign globally. Simon joined 303 Group in 2010.

Nic Chamberlain
 Head of Digital

Nic joined 303 in July 2008 to develop and enhance the agency’s digital and integrated offering. He brings over 12 years experience in strategy and planning in the direct and digital space with clients including Tesco & Volkswagen. He set up his own agency, Barraclough Edwards Chamberlain, in London in 2003. His clients included Nectar, Premier league.com, Daimler Chrysler, BT and Morgan Stanley.

Nic is responsible for all digital output from 303, from web development, email marketing to social and digital media planning and buying. Nic sits on the Digital Communications Council.

Clive Bingwa
Media Director

After working as a planner/buyer at Zenith Media, Clive joined 303 in 1999. His strategy and planning responsibilities extend across social marketing, retail and corporate clients, and his media strategy and buying experience for Government agencies is unsurpassed.

Clive also has a good understanding of Indigenous media channel planning, implementing the recent Go for 2&5® extension into the QLD market for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. One of Perth’s longest serving heads of media, Clive has also lectured in Mass Communications at Murdoch University.

Melanie King
Head of PR

Originally a journalist from Canada, Melanie has worked in PR in Australia for more than 13 years across health, government, technology, B2B and consumer. Melanie was Group Director of the Technology and B2B division at PPR for six years, managing accounts like Toshiba, Oracle, Lexmark, Discovery and Disney Channel.

She was Managing Director of Mango Communications, the PR arm of DDB, for five years. She built the business across Sydney and Melbourne with clients like Wrigley, Yahoo!7, Sanitarium, Sanyo, Skechers, Dr Martens, and Whirlpool. Melanie joined 303 in January 2008. Melanie has an MA Communications / Journalism and also teaches PR at UTS, Sydney.
